Senior Personal Accountant

Charlie has worked in accounting for over 14 years since leaving school. Her career began as a finance team member for a stockbroker firm. Following this, she worked for a local firm, where she gained most of her experience while having a portfolio of 300 contractor clients. From here, Charlie worked at a top 10 global firm for nearly 7 years, working in the outsourcing department, focusing on large clients, completing monthly management account reviews, attending client meetings, and helping to grow the digital transformations within the firm.

Charlie’s day-to-day role at Accrue focuses on the larger SME clients. This includes reviewing a client’s current finance function and discussing with them how to improve their bookkeeping and software procedures. She also assists the directors with ad hoc work that arises, including P11D filings and year-end accounts.

Outside of work, she loves specialty coffee, the beach, walking dogs, and spending time with her two young kids.
